BBC News: How much of your area is built on?

At the click of a button, you can now find out what our land is used for

The BBC has published an online tool and quiz questions to help you find out more about how the land is used in your local authority area.

They worked with Professor Alasdair Rae from the University of Sheffield, and used data from the EU CORINE (coordination of information on the environment) programme.
